Start Keelboat Sailing/ Basic Cruising Standard. Intermediate Cruising Standard. Courses are available in both beginner and intermediate levels.

Couples sailing week, We have been running this course now for four years and it is proving very popular with husbands and wifes who sail together and wish to further their sailing skills to enable them both to feel safe at sea . Couples that are looking towards buying/renting/chartering a sailing yacht – and want to develop double handed sailing skills and not operate as two single handed sailors. Families that wants to be trained together and become a well-balanced crew. No shouting, no stress, no mess. Learn how to be prepared and feel safe in all situations. Couples or families that wants to learn the team- dynamic, safety precautions and how to generally act and enjoy life onboard a sailboat. You can get your skipper certificate or brush up your skills while training together with your partner. Experienced or unexperienced sailors do not matter. You are never stronger than the weakest link in the chain. Learn the importance of working together as one. The complete weeks sailing course can be totally customized to suit exactly what couples are looking for as they develop their sailing skills.

SAILING AREA

Sail on the beautiful unspoiled Bras d’Or Lake offering sheltered sailing or a great fun filled sail when the breeze picks up. For more advanced sailors and those wishing to gain more sea time we have the Atlantic Ocean the other side of the canal.

Cape Bretons Premier Sailing School,offering sailing lessons on their well equiped C&C 37. Adrian Rogers the schools owner and instructor has been sailing for over forty years,holds a RYA Offshore Yachtmaster Certificate. With over 120,000 miles at sea Adrian has vast experience and skillfully passes that knowledge onto his students. Support goes beyond the course, Adrian is always available to help and advice,and is regularly helping current and former students with prospective boat purchases, give him a call! He loves teaching and sharing his passion for sailing and the sea. Based at St Peters Marina. The marina is well sheltered and offers fantastic facilities for students booked for a course.
