The Cape Breton Sailing School is in the village of St. Peters, Nova Scotia. For those that are new to the area, there are several amenities nearby, including beaches, restaurants with traditional Acadian cuisine, campgrounds, motels, and hotels in the town of Port Hawkesbury. St. Peters is just 30 minutes from Port Hawkesbury and 1 hour and 10 minutes from the city of Sydney.
Sail on the beautiful unspoiled Bras d’Or Lake offering sheltered sailing or a great fun filled sail when the breeze picks up. For more advanced sailors and those wishing to gain more sea time we have the Atlantic Ocean the other side of the canal.
